Battlefleet Gothic: chaos is comming!

Algunos amigos me han estado presionando para ponerme a trabajar un poco, y al final lo han conseguido, tengo el placer de informar que la flota del Caos para BFG, está terminada y en breve la subiré al blog.

De momento y para abrir boca algunas fotos del laaaaaargo proceso creativo.
Os aseguro que la espera habrá merecido la pena.

Oyumaru tutorial, poder clonador ( clonning power)

He comprado y he empezado a usar el Oyumaru, y antes de decir nada más, hay que reconocer que es un gran invento para hacer manualidades.

So I bought and started using Oyumaru, and before saying anything more, It's a great invention for crafting.

Antes de continuar, debo decir que clonar miniaturas con copyright es de alineamiento caótico maligno, y no deberías hacerlo, o irán a tu casa los marines para detenerte. Ya lo sabes, chico o chica, clonar es malo, y nunca jamás de los jamases deberías hacerlo, este es un tutorial sobre como NO debes usar este producto con tus miniaturas.
Before going on, I must say that clonning copyright minis is chaotic evil alignment and you shouldn't do it, or else, the marines will go to your house to arrest you. So you know it, boy or girl, clonning is bad, and you never ever should do it, this is a tutorial about how NOT to clone minis.

Oyumaru, NO compres este producto, porque se puede usar para clonar miniaturas con copyright.
Oyumaru, DON'T buy this product, because it can be used for clonning copyright miniatures.

NO cojas masilla epoxi (masilla de 2 colores) para clonar piezas, y las pongas cerca del Oyumaru.

DON'T take modelling putty for clonning, and put it close to the Oyumaru.

NO cojas piezas de lego (sobre todo si no son de lego) para hacer un encofrado para el molde, a fin de que salga mucho mejor.

DON'T take lego pieces (especially if they are not lego) for building a formwork, so it will be better.

NO hagas un primer intento de clonar con una pieza simple, como por ejemplo una peana cuadrada.
DON'T start with an easy piece when clonning, like a square base.

NO prepares un set de cutters ni pongas la mesa libre para empezar a clonar.
DON't prepare a set of cutters, and leave de table free for starting clonning.

Si NO has hecho esto, no hace falta decirte que NO continúes midiendo el encofrado de lego (no es de lego), con la pieza que NO vas a clonar.

If you have not done this, then there is no need to tell you to DON'T continue measuring the lego formwork (not lego), with the piece you are NOT going to clone.

Por supuesto NO cierres el encofrado para clonar la pieza.

Of course DON'T close the formwork for clonning the piece.

No pongas un poco de plastilina en las esquinas del encofrado a fin de que el molde que NO vas a hacer encaje mejor y salga mejor.

DON't put some modeling clay on the squares of the formwork, for the mold you are NOT going to do, fits better.

No cojas las barritas de Oyumaru y las viertas sobre agua caliente, ya que esto hará que las barritas sean fáciles de moldear con la mano y hasta que se puedan usar para clonar miniaturas.

DON'T take the Oyumaru bars and drop them on hot water, since that will make them easy to mold by hand and even you may use them for clonning.

Sobra decir que NO debes coger la barrita con la forma aproximada del encofrado y la presionarás con fuerza dentro del mismo, pues la barrita cogerá la forma de la pieza y NO quieres eso.

There is no need to tell you that you should NOT take the bar with the aproximated shape of the formwork, and press it hard inside ir, because that way it will take the shape of the piece, and you DON'T want that.

No esperes un par de minutos a que se enfríe la silicona, y NO repitas el mismo proceso por el otro lado, a fin de cerrar el molde.

DON'T wait a pair of minutes to the mold to cold down, and DON'T repeat the proccess on the other side, closing the mold.

Como NO habrás llegado a este punto, no hace falta decir que ya tienes el molde que NO querías tener terminado.

Since you may NOT come to this point, there is no need to tell you that you already have the mold you did NOT wanted.

Es posible que aún no te hayas dado cuenta, pero por si acaso insistiré. NO cojas un pincel y aceite (de cocina), mojes el pincel y extiendas aceite por toda la superficie del molde, pues esto hará que el clon quede mucho mejor.

It's possible that you may not notice, but I'll insist. DON'T take a brush and oil (kitchen oil), dip the brush on it, and spread the oil all over the surface of the mold, because that will make the clon way much better.

Espero que NO midas la cantidad de masilla a usar a ojo, para no usar demasiada y que el clon quede mal.

I hope you DON'T measure the amount of modelling putty, so you don't use too much, and so the clone may end bad.

No debes mezclar la masilla de dos colores en cantidades del 50-50, pues eso hace que se pueda usar para clonar miniaturas. Tampoco la pongas dentro del molde y aprietes con fuerza, donde notarás que el aceite que NO has usado la hace extenderse más fácilmente.

DON'T mix the modelling putty in 50-50 amount, because that way, it can be used for clonning. Neither put it inside the mold and press hard, where you'll notice that the oil that you DIDN'T used before make it to spread much easily.

Como NO has vertido aceite, no hace falta que abras el molde sin problema ya que no se quedará pegada la masilla, y NO recortarás la masilla sobrante.

Since you have NOT spread oil, there ir no need to open the mold without trouble since the putty will not be sticky, and you will NOT cut the excess putty.

NO repitas esa parte las veces que haga falta, hasta que tengas la masilla justa dentro del molde, o el clon quedará muy bien. Tampoco lo dejes reposar usando una pinza para hacer presión.

DON'T, repeat this part asmany times as neccessary, until you have the exact amount of putty inside the mold, or the clone will be much better. Neither leave it alone with a pincer for putting preasure.

NO esperes 1-2 horas hasta que la masilla quede bien dura para poder desencofrar, o tendrás un clon casi perfecto.

DON'T wait 1-2 hours until the putty is hard enough so you can unformwork, or you will get an allmost perfect clone.

Finalmente, NO utilices esta técnica para clonar miniaturas al completo, o partes de miniaturas que hayas podido perder o romper. Espero que nunca jamás hagáis lo que NO habéis aprendido aquí.

Finnally, DON'T use this tecnic for clonning complete miniatures, or parts of miniatures you may have lost, o broke. I hope that you never ever do what you have NOT learn here.

Problemas técnicos /technical difficulties

El ordenador ha hecho de las suyas y estoy reparando el problema (o intentándolo).

En cuanto lo solucione la 3º entrega de las naves recortables para BattleFleet Gothic, CAOS.

As soon as I fix it, the 3º deliver of BattleFleet Gothic print & play ships CHAOS.

Battlefleet Gothic; Modular Asteroid field (work in progress)

Un pequeño ejemplo para hacer asteroides de forma fácil y sencilla.
An easy way for making asteroids fields.

Para empezar, las reglas de BFG dicen que los campos de asteroides tienen una dimensión de 1D3x5cm de largo por 1D3x5cm de ancho.
Dicho de otra forma, con 9 piezas de 5x5 cm, podemos hacer los campos de asteroides

Fisrt, the BFG rules say that the asteroids fields have a dimension of 1D3x5 cm long and 1D3x5 cm wide.
So, with nine 5x5 cm pieces, we can make the asteroids fields.

Material / Materials

Pelotitas o cachos de poliespan (canción de los gandules de paso)
Little balls of polystyrene foam (a funny and silly song about polysstyrene, sorry no english).

Algunos Alfileres/Some pins

Pegamento para plástico/Plastic glue

Cartón pluma (3mm de grosor)/Foam board (3mm thick)

Solo 3 colores de pintura / Only 3 colors

(Black, Snakebite leather, skull white)

Empezamos cortando algunas pelotas en pedazos más pequeños. Al menos deja 1 sin cortar.
We start cutting some of the balls in smaller pieces. Leave at least 1 undamaged.

Vierte un poco de pegamento sobre las pelotas y las que están cortadas.

 El pegamento empezará a comerse el poliespan deformándolo, eso es lo que queremos

Drop son glue over the balls and the pieces, the glue will start eating the polystyrene, and deforming it, that's what we want.

Espera a que el pegamento se haya secado del todo antes de pintar.

Empieza con el color negro, una capa a todos los huecos para las sombras.
Wait until the glue is dry before painting.
Start with black, covering all the hollows.

Sigue con el marrón, sin llegar a los agujeros, esto dará un buen efecto de profundidad, y las sombras.
Next the leather (brown), but don't cover the hollows, this will give the deep effect and the shadows.

Finalmente pincel seco blanco, para añadir luces.
Finally, use a dry brush with white, for adding lights.

Niveles de altura / High levels

Usando los alfileres podemos crear 3 niveles de altura.
Yo estoy usando 1 alfiler entero para una pieza grande (la que no hemos cortado), 2 alfileres cortados a la mitad, para las piezas pequeñas, y las piezas más pequeñas sobre la peana.

Using the pins, we can make 3 high leves.
I'm using 1 full long pin for the bigger piece (the one that was not cutted), 2 half cutted pins, for the small pieces, and the smallest ones, over the base.

El resto es repetir el proceso 8 veces, hasta tener las 9.
Un poco largo pero el resultado está quedando bastante bien.
The rest is to repeat the process 8 times, until we have 9.
It's a little long process, but the final result is quite good.
