En el 2000 salió Diablo 2, y desde entonces lo he tenido instalado en todos mis ordenadores, nunca he dejado de jugar, tengo todos los personajes en nivel infierno, y de vez en cuando hago alguna partida en LAN con los amigos para seguir jugando.
Durante 12 años he subido de nivel, he matado miles y miles de demonios, y demás criaturas, he encontrado cientos de tesoros, he sudado para matar a Baal, y por supuesto, he muerto incontables veces.
Diablo 2, es el único juego que ha estado siempre instalado, y sinceramente, no creo que eso vaya a cambiar.
Queda 1 mes para que Diablo III salga a la venta... o mejor dicho, para que se activen los servidores.
Los años han pasado, y aunque en Blizzard siempre han creado grandes juegos, se han puesto bastante tontos con el paso de los años.
Cuando decimos Blizzard los jugadores más veteranos pensamos en títulos como "The lost vikings en 1992" (un juegazo que me tuvo horas y horas delante de la pantalla).
Otros jugadores pensarán en Warcraft, Orcs and Humans en 1994, una revolución en el mundo de la estrategia, y su posterior segunda parte Warcraft II Tides of Darkness en 1995, que era para todos el mejor juego de estrategia por aquél entonces.
Después salió el Diablo en 1996, y nos volvió locos, aquella atmósfera oscura, el ir bajando niveles y niveles para llegar al infierno y darnos de tortas contra el mismo Demonio.
Starcraft en 1998, fue otra revolución, y con ello Blizzard consolidó su lugar en el mundo de los videojuegos. Pero prácticamente no ha creado nada nuevo desde entonces.
Expansiones, de uno y otro, nuevos servidores para jugar online, el puñetero World of Warcraft (basado en Warcraft) y sus 1001 expansiones.
Y en 2010 sale el Starcraft II, campaña Terran, que viene a ser lo mismo, pero en 3D, con nuevos bichos, pero los jugadores se bajan los pantalones y dicen que es el mejor juego de estrategia, mientras esperan como locos la siguiente campaña (Zerg), para que cuando salga digan de nuevo que es el mejor juego de estrategia, y vuelvan a esperar la última campaña (Protoss), y repitan en ciclo.
Y en 2012, para ser más exactos, el 15 de Mayo, saldrá Diablo 3, que volverá a ser lo mismo que el Diablo 2, pero en 3D, y nos volveremos locos diciendo que es el mejor Hack & Slash del mercado.
Mirando bien de cerca, nos hemos dejado seducir demasiado por Blizzard, viendo como va a funcionar el nuevo Diablo 3, va a ser bastante malo. Quizás no el juego en sí, pero sí el sistema que se nos impone, tener el juego conectado a sus servidores mientras se juega, sistemas de subastas de objetos con dinero real, recompensas (seguramente de pago), chorradas como poner tu estandarte a tu gusto (seguramente de pago), y seguramente un montón de chorradas más de pago.
Blizzard es una empresa, y tiene que ganar dinero, y no hay mejor manera que el sistema de micropagos, te compras un juego, pero está solo al 75%, cada 5% extra lo tienes que pagar a parte.
No penséis mal, compraré el puñetero Diablo 3, y me compraré los 3 puñeteros Starcraft 2, y activaré todo lo que se pueda activar sin pagar, pero no pienso dejarme llevar por Blizzard y su mierda de sistema de pagos de hoy en día, cuando Diablo 3 valga 10€ en tienda, lo compro, hasta entonces sigo con mi hechicera de nivel 82.
It's been a LOT of time since Diablo 1, exactly 15 years, and since I played I fell in love with the darkness of the game and the play system, never saw before.
In 2000 Diablo 2 came out, and since then, I had it installed in all my computers, never stop playing, I got all the characters in Hell mode, and sometimes I keep playing with my friends in LAN.
For 12 years I'd been leveling up, killed thousands and thousands of demons, and many more, I'd found hundreds of treasures, I'd sweat a lot to kill Baal, and of course I'd died countless times.

When we say Blizzard, the more veterans gamers, think in games like "The lost vikings in1992" (a great game that got me hours in front of the screen).

We have been seduced for Blizzard a lot, and looking how it's goning to be the Dialbo III gaming system, it's going to be quite bad. Maybe not the game itself, but the system, having the game connected to the servers while you play, auctions with real money, bountys (with money I bet), stupid things like having your own banner (with money I bet), and lots of more silly things with money... I bet.
Blizzard is a company, and has to earn money, and there is no better way than the micro payment system, you buy a gme, but it's only the 75%, each 5% you have to pay extra.
Don't think worng, I'll buy the fucking Diablo III, and I'll buy the 3 fuckings Starcraft 2, and I'll activate everything that is free, but I'll not be fool by Blizzard, and their crap paying system. When Diablo III is worth 10 €, I'll buy it, until then, I keep playing with my 82 level sorceress.
